Car Alarms: Honda Odyssey 2004, honda odyssey, hi thanks

Hi, Thanks for this service. My alarm system was working fine with flashing indicators and brake lights when armed. Yesterday I armed the car with my son in the car, after a while my son opened the car from the inside and the alarm went off. NOW, the alarm works but the indicator and brake lights do not flash when armed or disarmed to open the doors with the remote.

More importantly the backup instrument panel lights does not turn on when the headlights are turned on which is annoying. I've checked the fuses.

I'd get in there and check the lighting fuses.
The alarm should not affect the car's lights
except to flash them.

You may want to reset the alarm, using the
valet switch (see past posts) to see if it that
changes the situation, but it sounds more like
you have other power issues here.

If you find nothing, run it into Honda
for a look see.
