Car Alarms: Add on to OEM factory alarm, 2006 acura mdx, acura mdx

Thinking about purchasing a used 2000 Nissan Maxima.  Do they make a module to add on to exisitng "factory alarm"?  I purchased one for my 2006 Acura MDX and just want if one exists for the maxima.

Not specifically for the Maxima, but available.
The AL 100 is a "channel expander/add on module"
that you would add to put in a siren, pop
a trunk if needed, as well as a shock sensor to
a factory system, and is contolled by your current
remotes. The trouble here is you are
limited to the current range of the remotes
you have as well. This can be troublesome if
you have a limited range currently.

FYI, if it were me doing this in my vehicle,
I would opt for a better after market
alarm/remote start system
with 2 way paging and great range, but that's me.
