Car Alarms: my car alarm, ungo alarm, car alarms

Question
I recently bought a 94 ford probe gt. The car came with a Ungo alarm on it, also included was the owners manual for the alarm. The model number is MS3001/MS3200. The person i purchased the car from told me the battery was dead in the transmitter(it only came with one transmitter), and this sort of thing happens from time to time. Any way this is only an installation manual any is not very helpful, however when i turn the ignition off the alarm chirps twice. My question is that if I replace the battery in the transmitter should the alarm work properly?

Answer
Doubt it. The alarm seems to be in a
tamper mode of some sort. Not an UNGO box guy
here, so I want you to go write to my
friends at Tampa Car Alarms
(SALES@TAMPACARALARMS.com) and ask them about
this issue. They may be able to offer some
suggestions you can follow on this alarm.

Good luck with it.
