Car Alarms: Viper 791xv, alarmtek, 791xv

I have the Viper 791x installed.  Everything works fine, except, when triggered, the alarm does not give a Warning. It just goes off full blast without using the "WARN AWAY" Feature. Why? Any ideas? Does this have to be programmed? instalation error?  im Stumped.
