Car Alarms: NISSAN ALTIMA 2003, nissan altima, shock sensor

Question
I bought a NISSAN ALTIMA 2003 with an off market alarm system. I could not differentiate between a factory installed and off market, but that is what the dealership tells me.
There is no manual for the alarm in the car. Sometimes (often times) the alarm goes off and I am just unable to stop it.
PLEASE, PLEASE Help. Cheers

Answer
It's likely to have a shock/impact sensor set
too high. Best idea if not inclined to open
the under dash and turn down, or off (suggested)
the shock sensor, is to run up to a local
best buys or circuit city and have them locate
it and turn down/off.

That would solve this I would imagine.
The shock sensor is usually a smallish
rectangular box with a green and a red blinking
LED. This will have a wheel or 2 inset, to
turn up down or off.

I hope this helps stop the falsing,
and good luck with it.
