Car Alarms: 1998 Ford Ranger car alarm, ford dealer, ford ranger

Question
Someone else here has the same problem I have, with the factory alarm going off when it is parked in the hot sun. You answered their question (how to permanently disarm the alarm), by grounding a wire in the kick panel.  I would like to know if there is anyway I can adjust it, to solve this problem, without permanently disabling the alarm?

Thank You

Answer
That would be a question to ask
your local Ford dealer/service dept. But I believe
that you will get an answer less then helpfull.

But no, can't say that you will have an option to
decrease the sensetivity on an OEM system.

Follow that post like I suggested to terminate
the alarm, then get an after market piece
in there.
