Car Alarms: Prestige Car alarn, prestige car, brain box

I read your response to this question before I decided that I needed more help.  I found the kill button (red, push type) and nothing happened.  I depressed it for around 2 min.  
I would like to know what the brain box looks like.  I see a little black box that is shaped almost like a pager.  Is that it?  It is located on the right side of the dash near to where a drivers right side is.

That could be it yes, but without pics,
can't say for certain.

Brains range in sizes, most bing half the size of a
vhs tape. They will have 4 or 5 white pluged
harnesses and red-yellow-green-black in it etc...

Unplug the main harness to see if it stops
working.
