Car Alarms: thor alarm remote start, brain box, door locks

hey i brought a thor car alarm off the net about 10 months ago and had it installed and was working fine. then just recently i changed my gearbox from auto to manaul and now the alarm says that a door is opend and wont arm. i've checked all the doors and bonnet and they are fine. can u blow the alarm up so to speak if u are fiddling with out it earthed out??

Yes without a proper ground, the eprom in the
system's brain box can/will be damaged.

I would take it in to be bench tested if
you are having channel (door locks) output
malfunctioning, at the local alarm shop

I don't know the Thor line, so I'd start with
the technical support line at the
manufacturer on this alarm for some input.
