Car Alarms: alarm problem, couple of minutes, audiovox

I had the audiovox 997 installed in my 1992 mustang twice. Both times I picked the car up and drove a couple of minutes down the street before blowing my ignition fuseable link. This has almost caused accidents and it is very frustrating to say the least. As far as i know the alarm was installed correctly, are you aware of any problems with the audiovox 997 and if not, Do you know what could cause the blowing of my ignition once the alarm is installed.

Hard to say without inspection Joe, but I'd say
obviously it is NOT installed correctly.

Take this to someone more competant. Don't keep
going back to the same installer as it seems he's
not a very good one.

PLEASE try someone else to repair this one.
I have no idea without first hand inspection,
but my guess is he's on the wrong wiring.
