QuestionI noticed that the alarm for my car is under a panel in the truck. Not sure what is going on. With my keyless remote I can lock the doors, which also engages the alarm. But I can't unlock the car. Also a few minuites after locking the car, the alarm goes off. The only way to silence it is to us the key to open the door then turn the ignition on. What could be the problem?
AnswerI need to determine whether it's a factory alarm
issue or, if it's an aftermarket system you are
dealing with.
Is it: Headlights flashing, car horn honking
and a worded SECURITY" light in the dash flashing?
Or,
is it: flashing parking lights,
an LED in the dash area, and a siren
going off?
