Car Alarms: re: galaxy 2-way paging, sensor capability, alarmtek

Question
I'm shopping around for a 2-way car alarm & have my eye on the Skytech Galaxy 5000 for a 96 Ford Mustang w/manual transmission. To your knowledge, is this a good alarm? Does it come with a kill switch & motion &/or knock sensor capability? Thanks!

Answer
Dear Ms. Karen,
I sell them here. It is a special piece,
as it is solely designed for manual transmissions.
That being said, a good technician is installation essential,
and you MUST go through a set procedure
to start by remote, but yes, a very good system
indeed.

It has an output for a starter kill relay (not included)
and a 2 stage shock/impact sensor. See at
www.PAGINGALARMS.com (add 25.00 to the price shown
for the manual transmission model) and you
also will need 3 relays for trunk pop, starter anti
grind, and dome light illumination to complete
what's needed in this car for a basic installation.

If convertable, a microwave motion sensor would
be the way to go there, and is 36.00 extra.

If you want me to price it out, and
send a payment/email link, I will be happy
to oblige & will put together
your package & get it sent out ASAP.

Let me know &
have a good day.
