Car Alarms: 95 civic no start, key switch, alarm system

Hi, I bought a 95 civic from a friend, it has a alarm in it with no remote. The original engine blew and I put new one in. I tried to start the car. the alarm goes off, then I took out the alarm system and put new under the dash harness in it. still no start. I need help get the car to start.

Look at the black/white wire in the ignition column
close to the key switch.
You may not have seen, or removed the starter kill relay
from the alarm. Whatever is inline on this wire,
cut it out, and re attatche the 2 free ends.

That should let you start it again.
