Car Alarms: 2003 Dodge Durango Alarm, dodge durango, night lights

Question
We just bought a 2003 Dodge Durango.  It has a factory installed alarm.  I think it might be too sensitive, because it is randomly going off during the night.  Lights flashing and horning beeping.  Any suggestions on how to decrease the sensitivity?  I am so embarrassed to be disturbing my neighbors.

Answer
I'd have to say toke it in to Dodge for inspection
if it's the factory alarm. May need restting, may have other issues, but you need to let them see it.

There is no decreasing sensetivity on a factory alarm system.
If aftermarket, you'd have a siren, and parking light flashing. Also a bright LED in the dash would
be blinking. So if noe of this is happening,
then absolutely take it to Dodge for help.

Good luck.
