QuestionHello, I've recently considered buying this car from my uncle, who could not figure out the security system. My Dad and I went to get the car, but due to the very touchy security system the car wouldn't start. We checked the owner's manual, checked the fuel injection lines in the engine, and switched out the fuses that powered the security system, but still the car would not start, and we are wondering if the system shuts off electrical or fuel lines in the car, and if anyone has had and been able to fix the problem, thank you for your time.
AnswerI need to determine whether it's a factory alarm
issue or, if it's an aftermarket system you are
dealing with.
Is it: Headlights flashing, car horn honking
and a worded SECURITY" light in the dash flashing?
Or,
Is it: flashing parking lights,
an LED in the dash area, and a siren
"going off"?
