Car Alarms: Take out an alarm, car alarm system, toyota corolla

Ok, now this is the problem. I Have a 1997 Toyota Corolla. Before I purchased it a car alarm system was places in it and I was not awhere of it. About 4 days after I got the car the dealership called me and told me about the system and wanted to take it out and I agreed, but before I could take the car to them the alarm went off and shut the car down and now I can not drive my car at all. I was wondering how I would go about to take it off myself so that my car would be able to start.

Please try to locate the valet switch
to overide the alarm.

If you would read some of the previous
posts I made on this subject, you will
see the procedure to toggle into and out
of valet/override mode. It allows
you to set and reset the starter kill mechanism
as well as all other standard alarm features.

This should also apply to yours.
