Car Alarms: 2002 Honda ledgen alarm, ledgen, shock sensor

QUESTION: Hi my Honda Ledgen 2002 alarm comes on by it self not all the time but now and again drives the neighbours crazy.

ANSWER: I've never heard of a "Honda ledgen"?
But check the shock sensor. It may be
set too high.

That's all I can offer on a system and car,
that I've never seen or heard of.

QUESTION: Sorry the Honda Ledgen is the Australian import of the accura i think anyway it's the honda 4 door salon there most expensive model, hope this helps.

Hard to say still what's in there.
But as a rule, a factory alarm would not
simply activate on it's own, out of the blue.
A "factory" alarm depends on the door triggers
turning the dome light on. Unlikely if simply
parked.

I'd still want to get up under the dashboard
and see what alarm you have there, and locate
the shock sensor. It's usually the culprit
in this kind of thing.

If not, take it up to the Honda dealer for
a quick going over.
