Car Alarms: Toyota Tundra, 2006 toyota tundra, car alarm installer

Question
I have a 2006 TOyota Tundra and when i bought ythey asked me if i wanted the alarm that was installed in it. i told them since they would charge $700 for an alarm that cost $50. they did something under the steering column to disconnect it, but did not take anything out (that i saw). is there a way that i can reconnect that alarm? i found the LED light that they put back up in the steering column. Do you know how to reconnect the factory alarm?

Thanks

Todd

Answer
Hard to say from my point of view.
I'd run it up to a local car alarm installer
and have him inspect it.

Keep in mind that you will also and will
need to get the remotes for it as well.
That might be pricier then getting new.

Easier to simply but the one you want
and install it yourself.

Good luck with it though.
