Car Alarms: keyless remote for 2001 eclipse GT, mitsubishi eclipse, stereo car

Hi, I am unable to get my remote to sound the horn when locking my car. The unlock lights flash, but the lock lights do not and there is no sound of the horn anymore. What could be the issue here. Thanks  2001 mitsubishi eclipse

I imagine you need to take it up to the local
mitsubishi for inspection.
If this is the factory system, they would be the
folks you need to see. If after market, then you will need
a stereo/car alarm installer to inspect and fix.

Either way. Have them look it over.
It simply might need to be reset.
