Car Alarms: 98 Camry beep or no beep., car beeps, mode feature

I have a 98 Camry and sometimes the car beeps when I activate or deactivate the alarm and sometimes it does not. I would like to it to beep all the time to get the verification of either activating or deactivating.

Then you will need to know
what after market alarm you have there,
and then get the manual with the procedure
for silent & chirp mode/feature settings info
from the manufacturer, then apply.

There are soooooo many veriables, it would
be different for each manufacturer.

Try going to www.remotesunlimited.com
and ID the remote. That should start you
on a path to discover what you have.
