Car Alarms: Alarm - 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Ltd., jeep grand cherokee, cherokee ltd

Question
I recently bought this car used from a dealer about a month ago. I think it has a factory alarm and I think the dealer installed an additional alarm as well. The alarm seems to be overly sensitive and goes off when nobody is around the car at all. It also went off one time when my wife and I both pressed "unlock" on our remotes at the same time (that time it would not turn off until I turned the key in the ignition).

Answer
It appears that the shock/impact sensor on the
after market alarm may be set too high.
If you have a local car alarm installer avail.
have him locate and turn it down or off to
decrease the sensitivity, or even unplug the
shock sensor alltogether.

That should fix your troubles. And yes, you paniced
the system using both transmitters. Don't do that!
Lol.
