Car Alarms: Alarm is bugging the car out...., viper 300, fuse box

Question
Hey, i just bought a 1999 Trans Am WS6. It has a custom alarm system, which is according to the remote is a viper 300+ (but the box under the dash which i'll mention later says it's a Python 650 ESP), so when i got the car, i started pushing the buttons (only two of them) to see what they do. I accidentally arm the alarm, and the remote now does absolutely nothing even though the lights on it still work (i've tried every combination of button pushing: nothing). I called the guy i bought it from, and he said i needed to find a box under the dash that has a plug in it (he also mentioned something about a fuse). I messed around with it this morning, found the box, unplugged the plug, and the alarm stopped. Only problem is that now the car still won't start, and when i turn the key to on position, nothing happens, no lights, nothing. When i turn the key back off, it sounds as if the thing that dings when you have your keys in is trying to go off, but is constantly being interrupted every 1/4th of a second. When i plugged the plug back into the box, the alarm went off and now sounded like the dinger thingy; being interrupted every 1/4th of a second. I tried jump-starting the car and hooking it up to a battery charger thinking it might be the battery, but still nothing. I've had to unhook the battery several time now, and now when I am re-connecting the negative terminal, i get weird tapping sounds under the engine towards the front. I also get another tapping sound by the passenger's side window, and sometime another sound from the fuse box.

Any idea how i can completely shut down the system so i can drive my car?

Answer
Sorry, If you did not notice, there is a link to the
DEI/Hornet/Python/Viper/Clifford Q&A forum On the site
you just came from. Was It not functioning?
If not, I'll double check that link right away.
In the meantime, you should take this inquiry
to the 12 volt installers forum.

Let me explain.

I am not the Viper tech in the ALARMTEK family.
My friend and collegue TWELVOLTZ is the
man on these issues.

Please take this question to my
