Car Alarms: viper car alarm, ford mustang, viper alarm

I have an 87 ford mustang with a viper alarm I am not sure what  model it is a few years old .. the problem is a lil while ago i lost the remote and the other day i had to disconnect the battery now it will go off but i can't start the car and there is no pwer to anything.... ie. lights stereo anything...how can i disconect it ?   any idea's would be appreceiated
