Car Alarms: Toyota RAV 4 Alarm goes off in heavy Rain/wind, toyota rav 4, dash area

No problems in normal weather but twice alarm has gone off in high winds /
rain any ideas of how to solve??

Answer
Your after maket alarm's shock/impact sensor needs
to be turned down. This device is probably wire tied
under the dash area, and has an inset wheel to turn it
up or down. I personally would unplug it because
these things are notoriously the cause of the falsing
you are experiencing, but your call.

Check that out, and you should decrease or
end the trouble.
