QUESTION: How do I go about disabling the alarm system? It just randomly goes off.  It has happened when the system isn't even activated.  Thanks

ANSWER: Please tell me what you are experiencing.

I need to determine whether it's a factory alarm
issue or, if it's an aftermarket system you are
dealing with.

Is it: Headlights flashing, car horn honking
and a worded SECURITY" light in the dash flashing?
Or,
Is it: flashing parking lights,
an LED in the dash area, and a siren
"going off"?

Let me know more on this to better
advise you on a course of action.

Well, according to you, this is after market
(2nd descriptio is after market)

Please try to locate the valet switch
to overide the alarm.

If you would read some of the previous
posts I made on this subject, you will
see the procedure to toggle into and out
of valet/override mode. It allows
you to set and reset the starter kill mechanism
as well as all other standard alarm features.

This should also apply to yours.

Good luck with it. Should do the trick.
