Car Alarms: vss-150 alarm system (general motors), gm dealer, responce

Question
I had to replace my battery and when I did the alarm wet off and wouldn't stop. I disconnected the battery to stop it from continuing.  How do I reset this system?  I was able to disarm the system (turn on the ignition and push the disarm button) my keyless entry button doesn't work either. Any ideas before i take it to the shop?  Thanks bobby

You should be able to repeat the same method
to go into and out of valet/overide.

I don't know this system, but it's likely to be
reset (after market method) by:

KEY ON- PRESS AND HOLD OVERIDE BUTTON FOR ABOUT 6 SECONDS,
GET A RESPONCE FROM THE ALARM, KEY OFF. DONE.

If not, then yes, call the local GM dealer service dept.,
explain the situation, then apply the info. That may also
make things go along faster as well if you skip the
first suggestion and just go to the source.
