Car Alarms: Locked Door, keyless entry system, remote keyless entry

I have a 2004 Dodge Ram with remote keyless entry system installed by manufacturer.  The driver side door is locked and wont open either with the remote or the key.  I have to enter in the passenger side door and open the door with the inside handle.  Please help---James

Nothing I can offer here James. It's a bad actuator.
Please either take it to Dodge for service, or go to
www.CHILTONSONLINE.com for the specs on Dodge factory
equipment to repair it yourself.

If it's an after market central locking door
actuator ( SEE AT WWW.KEYLESSCAR.COM),
you would then need to have a local
installer inspect and repair, but start at
the dealer first for they're take on this.

As you said, they put it in, right?
