Car Alarms: toad c2 alarm, toyota levin, chirp

Question
my brother just fitted a toad c2 alarm to my 98 Toyota Levin, managed to get everything working except for the immobilizer, when wired it seemed to be constantly immobilized as the car wouldnt start. Any ideas? also when i arm the alarm it just flashes the indicators without a chirp any idea how to turn the chirp on.
Cheers, any help appreciated.

Answer
I am not familiar with the European aftermarket systems however it sounds as if the circuit interrupt relay has been wired incorrectly, make sure that the circuit is wired to pins 87a and 30.  As far as the siren not sounding, the siren typically only requires 2 connections to operate, ground and +12V.  If the system you are installing provides a +12V output make sure that the siren has a solid ground connection.
