Car Alarms: valet switch, ford probe, dash panel

Question
My car will not start and I lost the keypad.  I cannot get the car started without killing the alarm but cannot find the valet switch on this car.(89 ford probe Turbo).  Any suggestions on where to look or what to do?  I unhooked the horn from under the hood, but the light is still blinking.

Answer
Take down the dash panel(s) under the steering column.  There will find the wires that lead down the ignition harness, this is where the alarm wires would have been tapped in.  Following these wires down will reveal the brain of the alarm as well as allowing you to trace the wires from the brain out to the valet switch.  If you can not find the switch, simply unplugging the fuses that supply the brain should allow you to start the car.  After you have the vehicle running, I would suggest taking the car to an install shop that sells that brand alarm and see if they can not get a new transmitter for you.
