Car Stereos: MP3 CD stereo compatibility, stock stereo, mp3 formats

Will 2006 Dodge Charger stock stereo play MP3 CDs?it doesn't is there a way I can make it where it does? Or is there, perhaps, some other type of CD(s) that can hold a lot of songs like that? And lastly where would I be able to buy/get an MP3 (or similar CD)?

Hi Sarah.

It would depend on what kind of sound system your car has but almost all new cars have this capability, if it doesnt there is no way to make it play CD's on MP3 format.
You can buy/get blank cds at any electronic store (even at wal-mart) MP3 its a format not a cd type, you can learn a little bit more about MP3 formats here:
