Car Alarms: CAR ALARM 1999 Toyota Camry, toyota camry, voltage spikes

Question
Recently I lost my keyless entry from my 1999 Toyota Camry.  The batter went dead and now when I try to start my car the security has me locked out.  It will not start; the electronic door look will not work and my car will not move out of park.  What can I do to bypass the security and start my car.  Thank you.

Answer
Have you tried disconnecting and reconnecting the vehicle battery?  Some times random issues like this can be attributed to a locked up module, modules can lock themselves up due to voltage spikes caused by jump starting a vehicle.  If this does not fix your issue I would suggest posting this question to a Toyota forum like www.toyotanation.com where a Toyota enthusiast may be better informed to reply to your question.
