Car Alarms: excalibur car alarm, excalibur car, starter wire

Question
Hi! I recently purchased a Toyota PK that had a excalibur alarm already installed although it was "disabled". I never had a problem with it, it would beep when i got in and out but thats all. I went away for 2 weeks and just got back. I tried to start it today and the battery was dead. I had a friend come over and try to jump start it but it wouldnt. We took out the starter relay and jumped it with a wire and the truck started. However the flasher blinked and there was a beeping inside the vehicle. The doors locked and on further checking noticed that the horn wires had been cut?? I let the truck idle to charge the battery and then tried to start it again but it wouldnt start but it clicked and beeped alot. I have 2 transmitters and tried them both but nothing would let me turn off the alarm. How do I disable the alarm so I can start the truck again like i did before??? Thanks...I have no instructions for the alarm......

Answer
Put the key in the ignition, and turn forward
all the way just before cranking. Then within
5 seconds, locate, press and hold in the
valet/overide button, (part of the blinking
light assembly in Excaliburs I think)
until it goes on solid, and the siren
chirps once.

This should reset the alarm, and reset
the grounded relay on the starter wire,
allowing you to start the engine.

At this point, the only thing working would
be the keyless entry from the alarm,
if it came equipped that way.

Just Repeat these steps to place it
back to usable armed mode.
You may get 2 chirps, confirming it,
and the lights may flash twice as well.

That should do it.
