Car Alarms: 1995 Ford Contour Alarm Problem, ford contour, dash area

Hi, I have a '95 Contour. Recently left the lights on battery drained. Got a jump but alarm sounds and car will not start. Even after pressing unlock on the remote key. I've attempted the key in the driver side door turn lock then unlock but this does not bypass it. Any help appreciated car won't start & stuck at work! Thanks..

If this is the FORD OEM alarm system unfortunately,
they will need to reset it for you. There is nothing
I can offer to get it going, save that.
However,

If aftermarket, put the key in the ignition,
and turn forward all the way just before cranking.
Then within 5 seconds, locate, press and hold in
the valet/overide button, found under the
dash area, (push button, spring loaded)
until the installed LED (the blinking light)
in your dash area goes on solid,
and the siren chirps once.

(Your valet switch might be the toggle
(on/off) type. in this case, key on,
flip switch in opposite direction,
then turn the key off.)

This should reset the alarm.
