Car Alarms: ghostly prestige 997, lincoln navigator, auto window

Question
I have a Lincoln navigator that has a audiovox 997a with remote start and 4 auto-window roll up. My problem is the alarm will arm when engine is running and also when driving. Sirens, whisles, bells, lights, horn and all. I believe it is causing the air-ride to drop to the ground when driving. when reset air-ride returns to normal height. After paying $600.00 for installation the shop wants $400.00 more for diagnostic test. Please help me before I lose my job and my mind.

Answer
The installer misconnected one of the ignition leads from
your explaination here Mr. G.

Could be something as easy as a popped inline fuse,
to a bad spade connector at the connection point.
Either way, the alarm needs to see an ignition
sense, to turn on and off. If it is indeed the
aftermarket system we are talking about....

...The other thought here is that if it's headlights and horn blarring when you are driving ("going off"),
then the factory alarm was not bypassed when installed,
and that is relatively easy to address
with the correct notes.

But, you paid $600.00 and deserve the support you paid
for. The installer needs to go over HIS work for errors
without charge in my mind, if the vehicle is having alarm
issues. His work caused YOUR issues.

But that's just an opinion, I could be wrong.
(not)

Go get um.
