Car Alarms: disable passive alarm, passive alarm, code alarm

I purchase a used Taurus from a private owner-It has a alarm/remote starter manufactured by code/alarm-It seems to have set itself on passive alarming mode-this was not always the case-how do I set it back to alarming itself by pressing the button (active alarming)?

Not really sure about that on Code alarms.
There is a guy listed in my Installers registry
that does do code though....
go to www.installhelp.com and read through.
Can't honestly remember which one it was.
