Car Alarms: 95 honda civic ex car alarm, parking brakes, starter wire

Question
QUESTION: I cut the wires to my alarm in order to start the car becuase my remote broke.  Was working fine, but I recently left my lights on and killed the battery.  Wont start now.  I noticed the parking brakes flash on and off and the alarm light on the inside of the car is now blinking again.  Is this an alarm issue as opposed to a starter possibly.  I replaced the battery and still no start.  Just clicks. I disconnected the switch on the driver side as well. Please help.
ANSWER: Put the switch back in cause you need it to disarm the alarm
If not you will need to actually get in and remove the alarm entirly.

Then turn on the ignition key, press the switch you
just put back in until the alarm chirps.
That resets most alarms.

If it does not happen that way, you will need to
completely remove the alarm and repair the factory
wiring.

QUESTION: Would not be able to put the switch back in.  The alarm has been removed from the car.  All that remains is the wire that connected to it.  What do you mean by repair factory wiring? Does this most likely sound like an alarm issue?  Thanks.

Answer
It sounds like the alarm had starter kill installed
and you will need to get in, locate the starter wire,
cut out the relay inline, and repair the wire.

This is waht is holding up the endine from starting
If all else is nominal. I can't see any other reason
(without inspecting it myself) why the car won't start,
unless there are other wires that you clipped under
there. But that's where I'd start my search.
