Car Alarms: My astra alarm goes off every 10 minutes?, grand marquis, screw driver

QUESTION: good morning, I am having problems with my astra car alarm its on my grand marquis. I have a astra car alrm not sure of the model along with a scytek two-way security alarm also. I connect my battery and it locks and unlocks then opens trunk and then goes haywire. SO i quickly disconnect the battery. My scytek alarm seems to be working correctly cuz i lock and unlock but it seems the astra seems to overwrite it or sumthing. Ive done many things and ive also read some others. I havent checked to make sure the connections are firm but i dont know which one to check. HElp ohhh and sumtimes when i start my car it beeps like when somebody firmly touches my car it send a warning it doesnt completely go off. HELP


ANSWER: Sounds like you are on the wrong door trigger wire.
and possibly using both positive and negative to detect
the door's opening. I would check that first.
In your car the door triggers are POSITIVE only.

The 2nd question sounds like the shock/impact sensor
may need to be repositioned, and reset to the level of
sensitivity you are happy with.

If you get out a smallish flathead screw driver,
you can turn up or down the sensetivity at will.

In any case, You need to inspect the wiring to make sure
you are on the correct wires in the car.

You also might want to buy the wiring chart for your
car to troubleshoot. Go to www.wirewerx.com and get yours if
interested in fixing it yourself, or contact your
car alarm's seller for the technical support they should be offering you after sale.

QUESTION: okay well i will do but yesterday on my astra alarm i took off the battery and it seems to be working fine which im using the scyntek two way alarm. But here is the thing when i push my unlock/lock button on my two way it shows on the screen remote a finger with a wire or string around the finger which im confused it works but sometimes it doesnt unlock as fast as i want it to. Thanks for your help
