Car Alarms: prestige car alarm Q., toyota cressida, prestige car

I install a prestige car alarm on a Toyota Cressida 2000 but some times lock,some times not it just make a very week noise but do not luck, what can the problem be? ( the alarm is brand new)

Try to reposition the ground wire
for the alarm, and for the door locks.

That's usually why the door locks will not throw.
Not enough "punch" if the ground is weak.
Also make sure you are on the correct door lock wires.
