Car Alarms: factory alarm, chrysler cirrus, power locks

Question
QUESTION: 3 days ago my factory alarm went off in my 1995 chrysler cirrus i didnt know i had a alarm now the car only starts for 5 secs the horn blows and the head lights flash. just hoping u could help me .
ANSWER: Not good. This is a bad car for it to happen too since
Chrysler got a bit funky with the wiring on the door locks
and the factory alarm system. Just the messenger
here mind you, but here's my suggestion:

ok, Normally, you would insert the key in
the drivers door, turn left, then right
to disarm and reset it. If yours is malfunctioning,
you can disable it for good by doing the following:

The FACTORY ALARM DISARM WIRE IS
Lt. green/orange from driver's door or dk. green/orange
from passenger or catch either at BCM
(body control module)located
behind right side dash. Use a positive (+) trigger
thru a 940 ohm resistor to arm, and a positive (+)
trigger thru a 470 ohm resistor to disarm.
Must use relays. See diagrams for all relay applications
at my site www.RELAYHELP.com

VERY Tricky and if you are not equipped, you should
take this in to the local stereo/alarm shop to have
it disabled permanantly.

However, at this point, this car would be exceedingly
easy to steel, so I suggest you get an aftermarket
alarm system to protect it from here on in.

Have a good day.

QUESTION: my power locks are not working,if i could get them working would it make it easier to disarm the alarm.also wondering if u could explain more about using the positive resistor thru the relay

Answer
See the relay diagrams at www.relayhelp.com for info on  that wiring. I don't really go into all that here
as this is reserved for 1 or 2 general questions.

As far as the locks, yes. This is why your alarm is malfunctioning. If Chrysler can fix the locks,
that would also fix the alarm issue your having.
