Car Alarms: car cranks but no start, toyota supra, button tip

Question
I recently purchased a toyota supra that had an existing Viper 5000 alarm installed. The car battery was dead so I jumped it the first day. It started and ran fine. The second jump that I gave the car the next day wouldn't start it. I replaced the car battery-now it just cranks but doesn't turn over. The battery is installed correctly Could the engine kill feature in the alarm have been set when I changed the battery. I tried the valet button tip that you gave others who have a dead car but it didn't work. Any tips would be very appreciated.

Answer
Sounds like another problem with the starter, not
the alarm, but to be certain, please take this question to my
resident DEI/Python/Viper/Clifford tech at
my online 12 volt installation forum at:

www.installsupport.com

His name is Stephan Murphy, (MURPH)
and he will be able to
help if he get's to read your
inquiry on that site.

Good luck with it.
