Car Alarms: Viper car alarm/auto start, valet mode, viper alarms

Question
In the past I've had work done on the car and when the battery is hooked back up the alarm goes crazy.  I know to hit #1 and it stops but this time it kept going after I disconnected the battery because I couldn't get it to shut up. Even when I got in the car put the key in the ignition it still was blaring.  I guess my real question is does it have a shut off switch for maintenance?  What does it look like? Where is the most likely location?  1991 Mazda 626.

Answer
All Viper alarms do include a manual over ride switch.  Where it is located may be more of an issue though.  Normally a Viper will have a small black push button momentary switch installed in the driver's side of the vehicle.  To activate the switch and put the system into valet mode you would turn the ignition to the run position and press the momentary switch.  The LED indicator will turn solid red to indicate the system is in valet mode and disable all security features of the alarm.
