Chrysler Repair: 07 Pacifica Nav System, nav system, integrated power

Question
Nav system is not working properly. When you start the car the Nav system will not work. Strange thing is if you turn the key to on and do not start the car the system works fine. As soon as you start it it the display disappears.

Answer
Hi Merle,
My latest manual is '05 and in that the wiring diagrams show there to be two separate 12V supplies to the nav unit, one is via fuse 25 (accessory relay output) and the other via fuse 48 (run relay output). So I would check those fuses to be sure neither is blown and also check to see which fuses are "hot" when you just have it in the run position without starting, and which when you have started the vehicle. I suspect that one of those relays is falsely openings upon starting of the vehicle but as to why will require futher analysis. The fuses and relays in question are located in the integrated power module box that is under the hood.
