Car Alarms: Viper 350HV question.., installation forum, murph

Question
This alarm works great, but I am finding out that if I do not lock the doors with the transmitter, that the alarm goes off and then I can turn it off with the transmitter.. I do not want this alarm to go off if I do not lock the doors right away or if I keep them unlocked for a period of time.. I have tried reading through all of the features and tried a few of them and it seems like I am getting nowhere.. Any input is greatly appreciated..
