Car Alarms: Galaxy 5000 2w-1 quit working, antenna connection, brain box

Question
OK, well now the doors will lock and unlock, but the LED light stays solid all the time, the corner lights don't flash anymore, and the alarm does not arm.  Is there a way to reset it or something, to get it back to arming and disarming with the doors locking and unlocking?

-----Question-----
This alarm has been installed on the car since I got it 9 months ago.  I've never had an issue with it.  Yesterday my car would not unlock with the remote, so I replaced the battery, still wouldn't work.  I tried the spare remote(which I have used before and know it worked), the spare remote also did not work.  There was no response to them at all.  None of the buttons.  The alarm did not chirp, led light did not respond, and doors did not unlock.  It is stuck in armed mode, no valet switch is in sight.  Is there a way to fix it, or would I need to get a new one?
-----Answer-----
I'd first check the antenna connection on the windshield,
and into the brain box. The alarm WILL NOT RESPOND unless
and antenna is plugged in at both ends.

If yours is, then next, try to reprogram the remotes.
Unlikely you lost programming, but ya never know.
Things can and do happen.

Still, if no joy at that point. Then check all inline
fusable links for bad fuses. Then if not happening,
then, and only then, replace it.

But check all those veriables first
and let me know what you discover.

Answer
There is a valet button or 2.
Probably only the one in the antenna
is being used however.

Key in the ignition, turn on forward
just before cranking.

Press the "call" button on the antenna
until you get 2 chirps. That is usable/arm
mode. Turn the key off, and you can use the
system agai. Simply repeat the same steps to
go into valet/overide/service mode.

Please read the user manual that came
with the system.

Good luck.
