QuestionI want to run my aux signal from my aftermarket alarm to a relay system to roll my windows down.
I can figure out the relay wiring. but i cant figure out how i would hook it up to the powerwindows. I orginally thought i could hook power to one of the motor wires and it would go down not the case. I even tryed putting ground to one and power to the other nothing happens.
what am i doing wrong or what is needed to put them down?
AnswerThe problem here is no braking system.
Without a way to determine when the cycle is done,
the signal sent would not stop when the window
met resistance. This is required or you'll do damage.
to the motor, the window etc...
Best suggestion is to buy a module designed for
window roll up and interface that. Especially
in any Chrysler after 2003 because of the multiplexing
databus driven systems imstalled in them.
Get a module and save some troubles.
