i have a 2004 ford taurus sedan and i opened my doors from the inside now my car wont start at all the battery is fine ithink the factory anti theft system shut it off
-----Answer-----
Please tell me what you are experiencing.

I need to determine whether it's a factory alarm
issue or, if it's an aftermarket system you are
dealing with.

Many veriables on this vehicle &
I Require a bit more imput please.

Is it: Headlights flashing, car horn honking
and a worded SECURITY" light in the dash flashing?
Or,
is it: flashing parking lights,
an LED in the dash area, and a siren
going off?

Let me know more on this to better
advise you on a course of action
to take, to help you to fix this
situation you're in quickly.

Answer
Ok, first off the easiet option to try.
Normally, you would insert the key in
the drivers door, turn left, then right
to disarm and reset it. If your is malfunctioning,
or not responding to this,
you can disable it for good by doing the
following:

The FACTORY ALARM DISARM WIRE IS dark pink/white |-|,
Meter this wire while turning the key in the driver
door key cylinder.

The GEM (Generic Electronic Module) is part of the
SJB (Smart Junction Box) to the left of the
steering column.  It has three plugs on the bottom.

Once Located, splice into it with
a simular guage wire, and put it to
a solid chassis ground. This terminates
the alarm functions entirely.

However, I hope the first suggestion works,
and if not, I would opt to
have Ford look it over prior
to permanantly diasabling it.

Have a good day.
