Answer
If you want to try to ID the system & attempt
to order another remote with programming instructions
at either of the following locations, try here...

www.AUTOTECHS.com
www.KEYLESSRIDE.com
or, www.REMOTESUNLIMITED.com

All specialize in replacement transmitters and
will most likely have yours as well.

If it's an aftermarket system, they will
tell you that too, and by the sounds of it, we
might be talking about 2 seperate systems here.

The aftermarket one (the solid LED) is probably
disabled, and was for the sale. The OEM one you
have will need a GM original remote, and programming
instructions. My guess is the aftermarket one
is better, but I would actually have to see what
you have to know that for sure.

It's up to you, but if there is indeed an aftermarket
system in there, you might want to locate the brain
under the dash, get the serial and FCC id numbers off
of it and get the remotes for that one instead of the
GM one.

Probably does more.

I any case, try those sites to get the identification
of the unit(s) you have to get replacement remotes
for either.
