Car Alarms: After market viper malfunction, 2003 oldsmobile alero, oldsmobile alero

Question
I had the dealer install a viper remote keyless entry on my 2003 Oldsmobile Alero when I purchsed it in 2003.  In the last two months I have had a problem with the horn going off when the temp drops below 30 degrees.  I have replace 3 fuses.  I know that it has something to do with the viper but the dealer says they don't see a problem.  I just want to uninstall it.  Can you tell me how?

Answer
They did not use a disarm wire
for the factory alarm in the Alero.
This would send a negative pulse
to the factory system, at the same instant
that you press the remote start button,
disarming the factory system
at the same time.

That should be addressed, but if not interested,
I would get the wiring chart for the car, and
reverse engineer/de-install it.

Get the wiring chart at www.WIREWERX.com
for the Alero to safely remove it
wire by wire until you are back to factory
specs, and you are done.

Good luck with it.
