Car Alarms: f150 light problem, pin switch, dash light

Question
I have a 1999 F-150 with a factory theft device (magnetic key, but no other anti-theft device, keyless entry, remote start or power anything. When I close the driver's side door the courtesy light and rear bed lights stay on. When driving the "Door Open" dash light is also on. All doors are closed. I have heard this could be a relay problem and am looking for any input from someone familiar with this problem.

Answer
Could be a relay issue, or possibly a light bulb
somewhere inline out, that is holding open a circuit.
Or could also be one of the door triggers has a
malfunctioning door pin switch that is not
engaging when the door closes. Check all of
these and patch or fix where applicable.

Lastly, if nothing out of the ordinary,
best advice is to simply drive to the local
Ford dealer, throw it on the code reader and find out
exactly what's what. Not too expensive to simply
read the compter and reset the code if needed.

Anyway, that's how I would try to fix this one.
