Itfinity 1991 I need to disable the alarm the car repair guy says it's stopping the car from starting. But he doesn't know how to disable it. Could you please HELP? Thank you, Pam

I need to know what model Infinty. Is the horn going off and lights flashing when the alarm activates?  G20 No the lights and horn did not go off. But the guy still think's it's the alarm. He put in a New battery. It just wont click or anything. Then Later when he tried to start the car it started. I thought it was the starter going bad. Thank you so much for your help!!  Pam


Answer
He needs to locate the green and yellow wire at the theft module located under the dash by the steering column. He will then just splice a wire into that wire and take it to ground. This will disable the factory alarm so it will no longer work. If you would want it to work you would have to remove this wire from ground and the theft system will be active again.
