-----Question-----
I have a 2000 Chevy Blazer with an aftermarker Megatronix keyless entry system (no alarm).  I just bought new remotes for it and in the programming instructions it says to find the valet switch? What is that? and where is it?
-----Answer-----
A valet switch is normally a small push button or toggle switch that mounts in a 1/4" hole so the switch is relatively small.  Normally these are located under the driver's side dash in a hidden location.  Take a look at the area to the left of your pedals, normally they are mounted there or mounted in what I refer to a 'dangle' mount, zip tied to a factory harness.  The valet switch is a switch that allows manual over ride of an alarm system in the event of a system malfunction or lost remote.

Answer
I am not familiar with that particular product.  However it appears that Autopage manufacturers the CarPro units.  It appears as if they do not list the RKE-1000 but I found this manual:

http://www.autopageusa.com/resources/CPX2500_OperationInstructions.pdf

and this manual that shows a slightly different process

http://www.autopageusa.com/resources/RF1055KE_operations_manual.pdf

These explain how to program new remotes for two different systems.  Hopefully one of them will work with your system.

Hope this helps
